Platinum, Diamond & Yellow Sapphire Ring
About the Item
This relatively contemporary ring has been crafted from platinum and set with two diamonds and a central yellow sapphire. The platinum ring centres on an oval cut sapphire which a gemologist has classed as 'bright mid yellowish orange eye clean with slight colour zoning' that weighs 2.84 carat. To each side of the sapphire is a marquise cut diamond set east west, each of G colour and VS clarity totalling 0.18 carat for the pair. The central sapphire is so bright and lively that it reminds one of the warmth of the winter sun. A lovely dress ring, but also suitable for use as an engagement ring for someone who desires a coloured gemstone.
