Vintage Emerald and Ruby Three-Stone Ring
About the Item
Here we have a remarkable emerald and ruby three-stone ring. The head of this vintage piece has been crafted from 22ct yellow gold and features a trio of precious gemstones. An oval shaped Colombian emerald possessing an astoundingly vivid electric green colour tone sits at the centre. This principal stone is then flanked on either side by a a fabulous ruby; each of Burmese origin and showcasing a rich red colour with a romantic pinky undertone. All three stones have been individually cut-collet set atop a plain polished 18ct rose gold shank.
This ring started life as an antique brooch but has been expertly converted into a more practical everyday ring by master antique jewellery re-designer and restorer, Gaetano Chiavetta.
