Colombian emerald, diamond and platinum antique Art Deco ring, c. 1930. The center stone weighs an approximately .47 cts., is a very fine Colombian emerald displaying an even vivid pure green color. The stone is bright and lively with even green color. The round brilliant cut emerald is held by 6 prongs. Accenting this center stone are 4 fancy Swiss cut white diamonds. They are held in miligrained bezels - seen frequently in the early 20th century. The diamonds each weigh an approximately .15 cts., with a total diamond weight of .60 cts. The diamonds match well in their cut and overall quality. They are near colorless (H) and very slightly included (VS). Totally this well made ring possesses over 1 ct. of fine stones.
The ring is marked platinum, there is an inscription (which can be removed) which is dated 1934. The ring is in fine condition, a size 6.5 and can be resized.
