Dated 1941's 18K Yellow Gold British Hallmarked 1865 Antique Stackable Band

About the Item

This antique little beauty is truly unique. This dainty little band looks simple on the outside, but on the inside of the band there is a beautiful story or two. Starting with the British hallmarks first we have the crown and an 18 the crown stamp indicated that it was hallmarked prior to 1975, the 18 tells us that it is 18K gold. Fallowing is the anchor that is on its side, this shows that it was made in Birmingham. Lastly we have the Q which tells us the date it was hallmarked, 1865. After the British hallmarks is an personal engraving, D.L.P & C.G.G 20/6/41 this is showing us that it was either purchased or handed down at some point and engraved with a sentimental date around 1941. If this ring could talk. Imagine if it was handed down for father to son, the romance and memories this ring carries is beautiful.
