An exceptional, fine and impressive antique 9 carat yellow gold double Albert watch chain; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections
This fine and impressive double Albert watch chain has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold.
The impressive large graduated rounded curb chain links are individually hallmarked with the 9ct gold fineness marks (9 and 375).
The yellow gold Albert watch chain is fitted at either end with a swivel catch.
The chain is fitted with a central rounded ring loop, from which a hallmarked T-bar suspends.
The T-bar is hallmarked with the 9 ct gold fineness mark (9.375), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the maker's mark (JM).
By virtue of its length, this impressive example of antique jewellery may be wrapped multiple times around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet.
Condition
This impressive antique yellow gold watch chain is excellent quality and is in excellent condition.
The chain is a superior gauge of gold and is clearly hallmarked to the T-bar, clasps and each individual link.
