This classic Art Deco Pocket Watch has a unique case design by legendary house of Gruen. The Pentagon allowed the watch to sit straight up in your vest pocket. That way it mostly staying in one position and was supposedly more accurate. The movement is beautifully finished and the watch has just been serviced by our team. The original unrestored dial was produced for Gruen by Stern Freres, the house that purchased Patek Philippe out of Bankruptcy in the 1930's. It is done in Sterling Silver and all the printing is Kiln Fired Enamel. The Blued Steel Moon Hands were inspired by Breguet in the 1700's.
The case is hand engraved and also enameled. It looks like it reads O F B or D F B. This really is a unique watch that can still be worn all the time, and counted as well to get you there on time.
