A gorgeous pocket watch by Pateck & Co. from the Late Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, this stunning piece has a striking black and blue enamel pattern. The round pocket watch has an intriguing pattern comprised of black enamel with a classic rectangular running bond pattern and a beautiful sky blue with a royal blue flourish. Five pearls embellish each side; one is encrusted with six Rose Cut diamonds while the other is decorated by a gorgeous snowflake-like pattern. The edge of each cover displays a delicately engraved pattern. When the crown is depressed, the hunter case opens to reveal a white face with elegant black indices. The watch's back case opens to read "Cylindre HUIT RUBRIS" indicating an 8 jewel movement. It reads "Pateck & Co Geneve" in a lovely script, and there are two places to wind the watch and set the time with an accompanying watch key. The crown's bail has a wonderful engraving, and is ready to be worn on a favorite chain. A gorgeous piece, this pocket watch would make a stunning addition to any collection! The pocket watch hangs 1 7/8" including the crown and the bail. The pocket watch measures 1 5/16" in diameter and is about 11/32" deep. Please note: The watch does wind and tick, but it does not keep consistent time.

Wear consistent with age and use. There are pin-sized dents to the edges, expected from wear and does not detract from the beauty or integrity of the piece. The enameling is in very good condition, and all of the pearls and diamonds are secure. The watch does not keep time.
