OUR OPINION As a relatively young brand in the art of watchmaking, De Bethune has managed to accomplish some significant feats in watch and case making. This discontinued DB22 in Rose Gold is from their 2008 collection and contains their own in-house automatic calibre DB2024. The Rose gold case is 48m in diameter, and adorns several unique design features from the brand, including their recognisable screw heads and embellished crown. The blue screws on the dial sit in contrast on the untreated, engraved inner bezel giving hour and minute indication. The hands are industrial and skeletal, allowing you see more of the grey inner dial, matted with a textured bead blasted effect. The impressive 49 jewel in-house movement carries shock absorption, self-regulating twin barrels and a six day power reserve, all visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.
