The pierced decorated, floriated design setting is ornamented with a feature 0.25Ct Old European round cut diamonds, displayed within a fluted eight claw/prong setting.
The feature diamond is embellished with a further eight pavé set eight-cut diamonds set to a paired leaf design.
The 18k yellow gold ring shoulders integrate with the 18k white gold setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.

Geneva was a very honorable christian-calvinistic place that time. When the first brothel opened in the 1920ties, it became an immediate huge scandal. The cathouse had to close on the next morning. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The Art Nouveau design is ornamented with three feature bezel set Old European round cut diamonds; a 0.31Ct, a 0.21Ct and a 0.20Ct.
The millegrain decorated, sinuous design is embellished with a further two Old European round cut and twelve Dutch cut diamonds.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening, which is struck with the maker's mark and 14k gold fineness mark -585.
The side of the setting is also hallmarked with the 14k gold fineness mark.
The setting has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The 1920s diamond brooch is supplied with three independent diamond grading certificates.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond and emerald brooch has been crafted in 18k white gold.
The tapering, organic influenced brooch setting displays a feature 3.19 carat step cut natural emerald, four claw set to the body, in addition to two 5mm cultured pearls.
The curvilinear, wirework stranded setting is embellished with a total of thirty-one individually claw set diamonds totalling 4.38 carats, in a combination of Old European round and eight-cut.
The centre features a simple white gold leaf motif, completing organic brooch design.
This exceptional 1920's emerald brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and locking clasp.
The antique brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the 18ct fineness mark (18CT) and the maker's mark (C&F).

A charming bust of a child’s head by Edwin Whitney-Smith, dated 1910, the girl has her head slightly tilted forwards as she looks out from under a lock of hair, set on a square block signed on the reverse ‘E Whitney-Smith 1910’.
This bronze is a reduction of Whitney-Smith’s original marble piece, a photograph of which survives in the V&A (object number AAD/1990/12/63). Another version can be seen in a 1920s photograph of the artist in his studio owned by the National Portrait Gallery (NPG x194201). Neither the identity of the sitter nor title of the work is known.
Edwin Whitney-Smith (1880-1952) was one of the pre-eminent sculptors of his day. Born in Bristol in 1880, he became a student of William Harbutt, the headmaster of Bath School of Art, best remembered today for inventing plasticine. Whitney-Smith showed great promise from an early age, opening a studio in St John’s Wood, London, in 1910. He exhibited over 40 pieces at the Royal Academy and despite not achieving Academician status, even with list of illustrious proposers, he became a dear friend of Sir Alfred Munnings, the famous horse painter, and sculpted his portrait. He was, however, elected to the Royal Society of British Sculptors and his works were generally well-received by critics and the general public alike.
Aside from the RA, he exhibited in Bristol, at the Paris Salon and the Scottish Academy and his work attracted the attention of such important patrons as the Courtauld family. One of his most famous works, The Waking Child, is in the Ferens Art Gallery in Hull and another, The Irishman, is in the Tate. One version of his bust of Ernest Bevin, the trade unionist, stands in Tooley Street in Bermondsey to this day. An article in The Sphere, published on the 3rd of May 1924, referred to the sculptor as “a well-known sculptor of smiling children” and mentioned his “famous babies’ heads”.

18ct Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring circa 1920s

18ct gold ring featuring a lovely diamond solitaire. Ring size UK Q 1/2 / US 8 1/4, and inside diameter 1.9cm / .75 inches. The setting depth is 3mm / .12 inch. The old cut diamond is .48 - .52 carats, and the inside band is stamped 18CT. One of the claws has a chip, but the stone is held securely. A good jeweller could repair the claw if you so wish.

1910s Antique Pearl and Diamond Rose Gold Twist Ring

This fine and impressive pearl and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k rose gold with an 18k white gold setting.
The pierced decorated, twist design displays a feature 4.5mm pearl, flanked diagonally on either side by an individually claw set Old European round cut diamond.
The twist design setting that surrounds the central arrangement is embellished with a further eight pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.
The 18k rose gold ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and are accented with a groove decoration which continues around the shank.
The interior of the shank has an engraved decoration, however this is partially worn and illegible.
This antique dress ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold.
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
