Beautiful enamel round box, created during the art deco period, back in the 1925. This beautiful antique piece was carefully crafted at the workshops of Foster & Bailey in solid .925/.999 standard silver with a hinged lid. Fitted with a mirror and a place to storage a 5 cents nickel coin. Decorated at both sides with engine turned guilloche decoration topped with applications of translucent vivid blue enamel.
Weight: 43.40 Grams, (27.82 Dwt).
Measurements: Diameter of 51 mm and a height of 12 mm (2.0 x 0.47 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark F&B associated to Foster & Bailey, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "F&B STERLING".

An extremely rare and virtually in near mint condition with no traces of wear or usage Banjo lighter designed by Louis V, Aronson for The Ronson Company. This Banjo automatic lighter is an American icon and was created during the Art Deco period in 1928. Crafted in solid steel and brass parts, with a .925/.999 sterling silver overlay. The body is accented with horizontal incised straight lines in a sequence of one line, a space and five lines, Fitted in one side only, with a diagonal 45 degree plain rectangle for engraving.

Glassblowing or Soffiato in Italian, is a glass forming technique that involves inflating molten glass into a bubble with the aid of a blowpipe. A person who blows glass is called a glassblower, glassmith, or gaffer. The word come from soffietta, a tool used as a puffer to further inflate a vessel after it has been removed from the blowpipe and is attached to the pontil. It consists of a curved metal tube attached to a conical nozzle. The glassblower reheats the vessel, inserts the nozzle into its mouth so that the aperture is blocked, and then inflates the vessel by blowing through the tube.

Louis Kuppenheim Company
The company was grounded in 1854 by Louis Kuppenheim (1824-1889) and Heinrich Witzenmann, specialized in silver and gold and enameled artefacts. On the World Exhibition in 1900 the firm received a gold medal for a letter opener. In that same year the company opened a branch in the Rue Richelieu 67 in Paris. In these years some designs by Hans Christiansen were executed, amongst them very delicately enameled silver cigarette cases. The enamels on the several silver and gold pieces was of very high standard, and sometimes even gems like rubies were applied. A stainless steel lighter designed by Ronson.
Very beautiful desk Rondelight lighter, created in London England by The Ronson Co. during the art deco period, back in the 1929. This is a very unusual lighter designed with wonderful geometric patterns and crafted in solid steel with a main spherical body similar to a billiard ball. Embellished with black and creme lacquer creating a great contrast with the polished steel. It is extremely well made and solid construction with very nice care and attention to all details. This surely is a very decorative piece and a great conversation item in gorgeous and exceptional preserved condition.
