This is an outstanding vintage 1950 Two- piece shorts set or playsuit from Brigance. The pink and black abstract floral print top buttons up from the waist in the back, an is mini dress length with a large slit in the front and back. When you move in this ensemble, the high waisted black shorts are revealed underneath! The black shorts zip up the back.Tom Brigance was known in the mid century for his sportswear and swimwear. The set is in excellent condition and comes from an estate that had ncredible designer clothing and accessories. The woman who owned this saved Vogue and Harper's Bazaar editorial fashion pages for many of her pieces and this playsuit is depicted in the page shown! This vintage 1980's tracksuit designed by Antonio Ruspoli is truly one of our favorite athleisure outfits! The zip front sweatshirt style jacket has panels that are gathered to create a ruching effect. There are dolman style sleeves, a gathered neckline, 2 functional pockets with the same zippers as the one on the front. The pants have an elastic waistband and ankle cuffs. Shoulder pads. The jacket is lined and the pants are not. Estimated size: is really dependent on how you would like it to fit but because of the design, it is adjustable from S-L. I acquired this 2 piece vintage pants cowgirl outfit designed by Fay Ward from the estate of a woman who owned a ranch in California in the 1940's and 1950's. She had many collectible cowboy pieces including some from Nudie and very early collectible cowboy boots. This is a fabulous blue gabardine late 1940's or early 1950s ensemble with incredible detailed floral embroidery, rhinestones, and fringe. The top has mother of pearl snap buttons and the pants are high waisted. The top is in excellent condition but the pants need a few stitches in the hem on one leg and there is a 3 x 5" repair (nicely done) that I didn't even notice at first - it is L shaped and on the back of one leg. I was going to just sell the blouse, but because I know that Fay Ward vintage clothing is very collectible, I thought that the new owner of this outfit would appreciate having the pants as well!
