Created in India during the 19th century, these pedestals showcase the shape of Classical capitals. They are both made of brass over wood. Each capital features a circular top with twisted rope style edge, sitting above a flaring base resting on a stepped plinth. It is the décor however, which attracts all the attention with its friezes and scrollworks depicting flowers.
