Seacliff - San Francisco

In the fantastic enclave of Seacliff in San Francisco overlooking the jagged coastline and phenomenal views of the Golden Gate Bridge, I created rooms that bridge old and new in one of the most exciting cities in the world. In the living room an 18th century Indian rug, a fantastic 17th century Flemish tapestry and Louis X furniture set the tone with great colors and Giacometti tables and a huge Dubuffet painting bring in a new aesthetic. The dining room follows suit with an early 19th century Russian cobalt chandelier and 18th century English dining chairs and a 19th century Sultanabad carpet with Albert Paley standing lamps merge the old and new in surprising ways.
