Soothing, Contemporary Winter Refuge in Celebrated Renzo Piano Building

After designing the couple’s Manhattan aerie, the snowbirds again asked noted interior designer, Vicente Wolf to do his magic on their 4 BR Miami Beach getaway. In keeping with the modernist bones of famed architect, Renzo Piano’s much celebrated Collins Avenue building, the contemporary, but not austere aesthetic, is comfortable with a dramatic quality playing up the panoramic views. The residence is chock full of purchased and custom pieces, and wonderful art! Due to its large scale, 5,000 square feet, Wolf’s first plan of action was to offer separation of the large, adjoining public spaces while maintaining a cohesive flow connecting them. The mandate: the apartment, with wraparound terrace, needed to have a sense of elegance, lightness, and calm.
