Tribeca Industrial Sensibility

Taking inspiration from its rich historical architectural heritage InSpace NY Design has implemented a sensitive gut renovation of a classic cast-iron loft building. The finished result is a maximized space for a modern young family home full of life. The apartment is 3-bedroom duplex penthouse, with two private outdoor terraces. A discreet elevator provides access directly into the residences with soaring ceilings heights, exposed brick, restored oversized arched windows, tailored drapes and wide plank black oak floors. The clients are a cosmopolitan couple with a young family with roots in Cuba and Mexico. The designer reworked the space for their growing family employing classic proportions and architectural layout, a prewar approach to apartment living verses the loft like spaces often seen in Tribeca.
