Beach House by Bridget Beari Designs in Hidalgo, MX
Susan Jamieson collaborated with the architect to design this four bedroom, open-concept villa resort as to minimally impact its surrounding biosphre reserve. Working with local craftspeople and using sustainable materials, Jamieson designed custom furnishings and architectural elements to mimic the tropical milieu including a handcarved mahogony tub, coconut shell headboard, concrete waves sinks and authentic palapa roofs. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
