Family Home by Sean Gaston Design in El Cerrito, CA
Views! Architecture! Location! Words to describe this custom built mid-century home c. 1965 and restored for the first time in its history. Fortunately, this home was in near original condition with many special architectural details. This project is a response to a welcome and familiar challenge: How can we design a modern home within a historic shell? The answer was a merger of simplification, careful restoration and expansion.
