This color photograph is part of Tim Hursley’s recent series on the American South which embodies the artist's interest in the often untold stories of idiosyncratic places in offbeat, rural areas. The images were shot throughout the South, and this particular image was taken in a junk store in Pocahontas, Arkansas. After much haggling, the artist purchased this taxidermy, two-headed calf for his own collection. Timothy Joseph Hursley is best known as an architectural and art photographer.
