Textile designer Madeline Weinrib's passionate following can't get enough of her brightly colored, globally inspired fabrics, rugs and wall coverings. Though Weinrib began her career as a painter, her roots in design run deep: Her family founded beloved Manhattan emporium ABC Carpet & Home. Today, she's known for creating graphic prints that combine Old World references — from ikats and embroidered suzanis to brocades and jacquards — with modern takes on palette and scale. An in-demand collaborator, Weinrib has partnered with the likes of Manolo Blahnik, Barneys New York, Neue Galerie and the Brooklyn Academy of Music on special-edition product lines. This week, she selects her favorite items on 1stdibs. More
