Mark Cunningham

Interior Designer

Since 2005, Mark Cunningham has created handsome, tailored interiors that both borrow from and breathe new life into classic idioms of American style. Prior to founding his New York firm, Cunningham had a 15-year career at Ralph Lauren, overseeing the rich, brawny visual design of the label’s boutiques. His residential and commercial projects are marked by a penchant for neutral palettes and rustic-yet-modern touches like Navajo rugs and Stickley chairs, and have earned him repeated placement on the prestigious AD100 list. In addition to his interiors work, Cunningham maintains an expertly curated storefront on 1stdibs. Browse his picks below, and then visit The Study for a closer look at several standout finds.
