How do I find out how much my print is worth?
1 Answer

To find out how much your print is worth, conduct some research using trusted online resources. By looking at what similar prints by the same artist sold for in the past, you can get a rough idea of the value of your piece. However, other factors, such as the image quality and the condition of the paper, will also impact how much you might be able to sell your print for. As a result, it's a good idea to have a certified appraiser or knowledgeable art dealer assist you with the valuation process. Shop a large collection of art prints on 1stDibs.

Thomas McKnight (born 1941) is a U.S. artist. He was born in 1941 in Lawrence, Kansas. He attended Wesleyan University, a small liberal arts college in Middletown, Connecticut, where he was one of only five art majors. He spent his junior year in Paris. After a year of graduate work in art history at Columbia University, in 1964 McKnight found a job at Time Magazine where he would work for eight years, interrupted by a two-year stint in the U. S. Throughout the 1980s McKnight’s art, mainly limited edition serigraph prints, became increasingly popular. In 1994 he was commissioned by the White House to paint the first of three images for President Clinton...
