What happened to Bedat & Co. watches was that a new owner acquired them. In 2000, Gucci purchased a majority stake in the company, subsequently becoming its sole owner in 2005. Luxury Concepts, a Malaysian company, bought Bedat & Co. in 2009. As of 2024, Bedat & Co. was continuing to manufacture luxury timepieces at its atelier in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland.
