A very popular upholstery for couches in 2021 is 'Bouclé' fabric often utilized in a white or off-white color. Celebrity interiors and top interior designers in recent years have increased the popularity and demand for this type of fabric and now is a very hot trend that is sure to continue throughout the 2020's. We, at Automaton Modern, often use bouclé fabric on sofas by Vladimir Kagan such as the 'Cloud' sofa from Directional which curved shapes and contours are accentuated by the nubby texture of bouclé.
