Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto has two very well-known brands. The first is his eponymous brand, Yohji Yamamoto, and the other brand is Y’s. In addition to his two main brands, Yamamoto’s other lines are Pour Homme, Costume d’Homme and Regulation Yohji Yamamoto. His style is often referred to as modern luxury streetwear. Yohji Yamamoto Rare Early Tweed Jacket

Exceptional and rare Yohji Yamamoto Tweed Jacket from one of his earliest collections presented in Paris in the early 1980's. Cut as an oversized mens jacket but detailed through a Japanese lens. Extended shoulders cut wide with no pads taper to the hip. The lapels are cut to protrude and jut forward at double breasted closure. The double vented back is cut higher and tapers down in the front. Exaggerated thick herringbone tweed textile is also subtly subversive. Jacket can be worn by men as well and looks amazing. Label was removed in the period.
