What kind of pottery did the Incas make?

1 Answer
What kind of pottery did the Incas make?
The Incas made two main kinds of pottery: aríbalo and the quero. An aríbalo is a pot with a long neck, a trumpet-like mouth and two small side handles, while a quero is a shorter cup-like vessel with a tapered shape. Incan artisans often decorated pottery with intricate geometric motifs. Shop a variety of pottery on 1stDibs.
