Which of Hockney's paintings was made in 1978?

Several of Hockney's paintings were made in 1978. Between August and October, he created his well-known series “Paper Pools.” To produce these works, Hockney combined elements of painting and printmaking, pressing pigments directly into the paper. Hockney also started work on his painting Santa Monica Boulevard in 1978 and completed his work Canyon Painting that year. On 1stDibs, shop a collection of David Hockney art.
