German artist Friederike Oeser was born in Nuremberg in 1959 and currently lives and works in Munich. In 1980 she received a BA from German Master School for Fashion, Art and Design, (Deutsche Meisterschule für Mode), and subsequently worked as a graphic designer and art director in Munich and London from 1980-1989. Oeser has exhibited widely in the US and abroad. Her works are in many permanent collections, among them Germany´s Museum Villa Haiss and the Bayerische Staatsgemaeldesammlungen (Bavarian State Painting Collections), Netherlands ´Museum voor Vlakglas-Emaillekunst, Ravenstein; the China Academy of Arts in Beijing; Porsche Colección de Arte, Vigo, Spain, in addition to private collections in China, South Korea, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Thailand, the United States and Germany.
