This contemporary abstract ink and acrylic drawing on paper intricate mark-making in linear formations in shades of black. Currently available at Kathryn Markel Fine Arts in New York.
"Borders, boundaries, and language, exist throughout my work and have manifested themselves in my sensibilities as an artist. The repetitive mark-making within my practice explores the relationship between chaos and order, and the ways in which it is possible to manipulate or exaggerate time. I'm interested in creating spaces that translate the micro and macro perspectives within urban and rural environments, and introducing a new possibility for the viewer of abstract navigation through real and imagined terrains."

Maeve D'Arcy received an in MA Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, London. She currently resides in Queens and works out of her studio in Brooklyn, NY. She was awarded the 2018 Virginia Center for the Creative Arts Residency and Fellowship and the 2018 Jentel Foundation Residency and Fellowship. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout London and New York, including at the Abrons Art Center, La Bodega Gallery, and Trestle Gallery, among others.
