About the Item
This abstract calligraphic drawing is made with Chinese ink and silver pastel on heavy white paper. Looking at it you can feel the freshness of instant impulse and the charge of cheerful energy! I danced a lot the day I drew this series of drawings, giving myself permission to feel a lot. I called this series «Funny Silver Mood». The silver pastel glows a little and changes hue slightly when you look at it from different angles.
Every time I draw such abstract lines, a flow of energy moves my hand. I paint very fast to give the spontaneous flow as much space as possible. I never know what the result will be. The process of spontaneous drawing is a kind of magic that turns an invisible impulse into a reflection on paper. I feel the vibration in and around my palms and enjoy this dance of vibrations every time I paint. Each drawing is unique and one of a kind.
I draw on different formats from A4 (21,0 х 29,7 cm / 8,27 in х 11,69 in) to A0 (59,4 х 84,1 cm / 23,39 х 33,11 in) This artwork is made with inks from Laohu Kaiwen (China) and oil paste from MUNGYO (Korea).
Sve Gri is a multidisciplinary artist. Works in the technique of drawing, graphics and sculpture. Svetlana loves to experiment, mastering new ways of self-knowledge and creativity. She is driven by the desire to open the door little by little to the sensual living reality of this world. She lives, learns and works in Lithuania (Vilnius) since 2012. Svetlana studied at the Art Academy in Vilnius at the Department of Ceramics. In 2022, her individual exhibition of ceramics "Inside a Dream" was held at the street branch of the Academy of Arts in Vilnius.
