Wilhelm Lorenz
Lion - Original Charcoal Drawing by Willy Lorenz - 1971

1971

About the Item

Lion is a beautiful charcoal original drawing on ivory-colored paper, realized by the German artist Wilhelm Lorenz, best know as Willi Lorenz (German, 1901–1981), in 1971. Signed and dated in pencil on lower right margin. This wonderful foreground of profile of the lion fascinates for the incredible draftsmanship of the artist and the realism with which the feline is portrayed. This modern artwork, in excellent conditions except for the usual stains of the charcoal and sporadic foxing, is a really perfect decor for your home able to give your furniture a touch of wildness and exotism, able to transmit you a powerful life charge never seen.
