He came to Worcester MA in 1921, where he studied art at the Worcester Art Museum School. He pursued his art studies in Boston, graduating with a B.A. from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and with a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Boston University. He continued his art studies in New York, where he attended the National Academy of Fine Arts in New York City, studying under the tutelage of Leon Kroll and Herbert Barnett. (2) He was the Art supervisor for the Uxbridge Public Schools for over 30 years, retiring in 1970 to pursue his interest in watercolors, oils and pottery.
