About the Item

In the 1950s and 60s Grambs worked on many commissions. The symmetrical nature of the drawing suggests it was for a book or magazine project with facing pages -- possibly a cookbook. The size of the image is 8 x 10 inches, however the sheet is 10 x 13 3/4 inches. The old glue on the reverse indicates that it was mounted to a support sheet at some point. None of the glue shows through that I can see. It is signed in pencil.

Basically the sheet is in extremely good condition. There are hinges that could easily be removed and there is old glue over almost the entire reverse. None of it shows through that I can see.
