Watercolor on heavy paper realized by Carlo Ravagnan in 1977.
Hand signed lower right. Dated on rear.
Excellent condition.
Carlo Ravagnan was born in Udine on September 4, 1911, died in Venice in 1992.
He studied at the Art Institute of Venice and lived and worked for long periods in Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles.
He was one of the best Venetian watercolorists and gave a remarkable contribution to Venetian painting for the richness and quality of his production.
Ravagnan's work has established itself abroad, especially in France, Germany, England and America and his exhibitions have been welcomed with flattering judgments by the best critics.
