A bright and harmonious figural painting in the Mycenaean style of pottery decoration, depicting a woman shown in profile and gazing reflectively to the viewer's left. O'Malley has employed a complex, multi-media technique, using casein, wax resist and random markings to create an elegant and atmospheric work.
