Figures is an original drawing in pencil and pen realized by Gabriele Galantara, here are two pieces of artwork on paper applied on white cardboard. the state of preservation of the artwork is good and aged.

The artworks represent quick-created figures on the right two men speaking, on the left an angelic woman, with strong lines, skilfully expressed. with the hand-writing of the artist below them. Gabriele Galantara(1867-1937), journalist and one of the major Italian caricaturists and satirical designers. The Donkey was a political satire magazine in 1892, the year of the first Giolitti ministry and the establishment of the Italian Socialist Party, The magazine was conceived by Guido Podrecca,and by Gabriele Galantara, brilliant cartoonist and puppeteer, also a socialist. The two assumed the pseudonyms of "Goliardo" (Podrecca) and "Rata Langa" (Galantara), and with these nicknames, they signed the issues of the weekly.
