La Lune is an Original Ink and Watercolor realized by Gaston Touissant (1872-1946). Good condition on a little paper, included a white cardboard passpartout (40x30 cm). No Signature, stamp of the Atelier Touissant, Vendome on the lower left corner. Gaston Toussaint or Gaston Henri Toussaint is a French sculptor , born on September 7 , 1872 at Rocquencourt and died on March 20 , 1946 in the 14th arrondissement of Paris . He is a practitioner of Antoine Bourdelle . Gaston Toussaint spent his childhood in Castres , trained in the studio of the sculptor Alphonse Gasc and then entered the School of Fine Arts in Toulouse in 1894 5 . In 1897, he went to Paris and enrolled at the École des beaux-arts , he remained there until 1900, when he probably met Antoine Bourdelle.
