Boccio is an original pencil drawing on cream-colored paper made by the Italian artist Ildebrando Urbani (1901 - 1985) in 1932, as the artist reports in pencil on the lower right margin, togeter with the lace " Nemi", the title, and the signature
Realized by a skilled hand, this rapid sketch reveals all its beauty in the freshness of the sapient touch..
Representing a beautiful portrait of a man with hat looking out the window, perhaps looking at the lake of Nemi, this modern artwork is in excellent conditions, except for some imperceptible yellow stains on the lower margin and some light folds of the paper above all on the lower margin. A white cardboard passepartout is included (49 x 34 cm).
On the lower right corner of the back of the sheet, the blue-ink stamp "Arte Storia Collezione Contessa Laetitia Pecci-Blunt".
Ildebrando Urbani (1901-1985)
The Italian artist Urbani participated in numerous editions of the National Art Quadrennial of Rome from 1931 to 1956 and at the Venice Biennial in 1940 and 1942. He later moved to Madrid where he continued the exhibition activity.
