“We are at once different and so alike” — this piece explores the collective nature of internal limitations. It reflects on the delicate boundary between individual uniqueness and the sameness that stems from deeply rooted beliefs and unconscious patterns. There is no conflict here — only coexistence, which evokes both anxiety and calm. As in all my work, this piece is about self-discovery through the reflection of the other — about those psychological “mirrors” in which we see ourselves as we fear to be, or long to become.
