"No One Cares" is an original contemporary wall-hanging artwork by Sean 9 Lugo, known artistically for his murals and street art . The bear figure holding a social commentary cardboard sign is made from acrylic, marker, ink on paper and mixed media on street signc. The figure is then wheatpasted on a decommissioned street sign, with a background of collaged newspaper and mixed media. .This pieces measures 29”h x 33”w and comes with a gallery-issued signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Sean 9 Lugo‘s artwork is reflective of the diverse culture that surrounded him as a child growing up in Hudson County, N.J. with parents from Puerto Rico and Cuba. His street art is known for representing the duality of both Latin and American culture and experiences through masks that can either misconceive or stereotype perceptions.
