About the Item

Saint-Louis is a beautiful original pencil drawing on paper, realized by a French artist of XIX century. hand-signed in black ink on lower right margin, signature not completely readable. Title in pencil on lower margin at the center. Representing the Chevalier "Saint-Louis" thanking God with his arms raised to the sky, this old master's drawing demonstrates a great draftsmanship. In good conditions, except a usual yellowing of the paper at the edges and some minor stains on the lower margin. on the back there is the black ink stamp "Document appartenant à Georges Cheron peintre decoratuer".
