The Galli Bibiena Dynasty and European Courts. The Galli Bibiena family, renowned Italian artists and scenographers, served the most distinguished European courts, including those in Vienna, Munich, Dresden, Bayreuth, and Prague. Their architectural and theatrical designs, such as the Scientific Theatre in Mantua and the Municipal Theatre in Bologna, showcase their expertise in theatre architecture. While ephemeral works are challenging to preserve, some performances have made a lasting impact, notably in Vienna, where the Bibienas contributed to the decoration of the Questenberg Palace gallery and library.
