Dana Forrester"Grove Hardware" - Framed Superrealism Photorealist Watercolor Painting
About the Item
A feat of superrealism masterfully done using watercolor, a notoriously difficult medium. (I apologize for the reflections on the glass - I took a couple of shots at a slight angle to reduce them.) The patience and talent it requires to create this sort of work just boggles the mind. 24" x 20" with frame, watercolor itself measures 14" x 10.5". There is a small 1cm crack in the glass in the bottom left corner that I didn't even notice at first, and it doesn't bother me, but you can replace the glass cheaply if it bothers you (don't let them sell you UV museum glass - it's only necessary if you'll have it in direct light; I owned a frame shop once!). Proudly presented by Guy Lyman Fine Art, New Orleans, with our firm guarantee.
