This is an original oil painting the artist entitled: "Notre Neige" (Notre Dame in the Snow).
The artist is born in France and is the son of the American painter Frank Meyers Boggs and born out of wedlock in 1900 while the father was living in France.His name FRANK was taken from his father and WILL from his grandfather.
The painting was selected for the back cover of a catalogue and the front cover is for his father show their works of art. Frank Will is know for his watercolors and this oil is extremely large and size and subject. An early catalogue will accompany this painting.
It is ready to hang condition and is in a 23K hand carved frame from New York's best period frame makers.
It is very rare subject, period and also rare for snow in Paris.
