California Ranch Original Watercolor Landscape
A beautiful Ranch-style, single-story home with low pitched rooftops and a weather vane adorned cuplola is depicted in subdued watercolors, by California artist, George Alfred Morrison (American, 1874-1943). Neutral earth tones give the sense of a day after a storm, making the greenery of the garden flourish.
Signed in the bottom right corner, "G. Morrison."

George Alfred Morrison (American, 1874-1943) was born in Massachusetts on Oct. 15, 1874. Morrison settled in Lancaster, CA in 1918, and remained there for the rest of his life. A rancher, he painted desert landscapes in his leisure. He died in Los Angeles on June 25, 1943.
