Small-scale early 20th century watercolor seascape depicting schooners at sail by W.K. Willis, New York artist/newspaper iIlustrator (American, 19th/20th century). Painted off the coast of Bellport, Long Island, a coastal New York town. The artist uses a delicate hand to portray fine details of these maritime vessels and figures in pencil and watercolor to add color to the scene.
Signed "W.K. Willis" lower left. "Bellport, L.I." noted on verso.
Displayed in an antique frame, painted off white with light blue border detail.
