About the Item
This flower drawing is done on mylar paper, a semi-transparent paper with a smooth surface. The drawing was done with graphite pencil, red oil pencil and Farber-Castell quality pencils. Note that the left side was freely cut and is not straight. These drawings would require a mat board rather than floated within the frame. One can place colored paper behind the image to give it a colored hue. Thanks to its transparency it can be used by superimposing two or more sheets to create interesting effects in a creative way. Please note the water marks on the surface, added to identify flowers in water. This is part of my series on botanical images. It was a rare drawing.
