A fine late 19th century watercolour showing a young courting couple together in a cattle shed. The gentleman is pictured holding the lady's hand, mesmerised by her pure beauty. While the lady on the other hand looks sad and tearful, staring at the ground, worried that they will never be betrothed to one another. Unsigned. The delicate continental painting has been immaculately presented in a double bevelled mount and stained gilt frame. Glazed. On wove.
