Fog surges from the hidden valley in artist Siyuan Ma's impressionist piece. A sheer veil of mist envelops the landscape like cooking smoke. "The view in front of us was instantly submerged," shares Siyuan. "Looking down, we saw a white sea of clouds. While looking up, we saw towering peaks." The scenery evokes the feeling of a small boat floating in the surging river, with the mountains drifting in the clouds and people wandering in the painting.

This artwork is from my Birds and Flowers series in which I develop harmonic composition depicting birds and plants. Inspired by traditional Japanese and Chinese ink paintings, I try to create unique compositions. This piece is on heavyweight paper and will need a frame for display.
