D.K.J - Framed Early 20th Century Watercolour, Lustre Vase with Crocus Flowers

A finely executed still life in watercolour, depicting an elaborate black lustre vase decorated with delicate gilt and white enamel. Resting at the foot of the vase the artist has captured several yellow and white crocus flowers starting to go passed their best. The painting has been beautifully presented in a gilt-effect frame with moulded members. Monogrammed by the artist and dated 1916 to the lower right. On paper.
