Alea Pinar Du Pre's original vibrant and modern artwork depicts a woman's portrait in a graphic pop-realist style. The three-dimensional, textural, linear texture throughout the artwork adds a unique rhythm and dynamic quality. An enterprising autodidact merging linear texture and figurative fine art, her vibrant contemporary artworks colorfully explore the territory between human reality and artificial reality.
Her paintings portray the fact that our perceptions of solid reality are deceptively virtual. This unique textured painting is a part of her "Space/Time" series, in which figures are deconstructed through layers of vibrant colors in shades of blue, red, and white.

She gazes confidently over her shoulder, with an expression that is both enigmatic and captivating. Paying tribute to her main influences, Alea describes her style as "Jugendstil Pop-Art". But where Pop art was stimulated by the iconography of materialism and the mass culture of its time, her vision is more intimate in its subversive intent.

Alea Pinar Du Pre
As an Austrian/Turkish Painter born in 1972, Alea Pinar Du Pre has been influenced deeply by the artist of Künstlerhaus and Wiener Werkstaette. As a highly talented autodidact, Pınar Du Pre started painting early on. By the age of six, she had produced about 500 drawn paper dolls. By the age of 13, she painted her first oil color figures and invented an oil color printing technique. Between 1995–2005, she produced a series of cubistic oil paintings on wood picturing street scenes of Istanbul. In 2006, she developed her current technique in which she mixes digital art with the real world, a technique which she calls media fusion.
